Hi! I’m TaBre'a—a devoted mother, passionate believer, and someone who’s always had a heart for helping others. I’m a dually licensed clinician, practicing as a licensed social worker in both Maryland and North Carolina. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and went on to complete a second Master’s in the Philosophy of Human Services from Walden University.

As a millennial navigating this ever-changing world myself, I understand how overwhelming life’s transitions can be. That’s why I’m deeply committed to walking alongside others during those pivotal moments—offering support, insight, and a safe haven to grow. This work is more than a career to me—it’s a calling.

Mental Health Therapist

Nashia C. Whittenburg graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in
Sociology. From there, she earned her Master’s degree in Social Welfare from Stony
Brook University in Stony Brook, N.Y.

Nashia’s fervent passion is art and communication through art and play as an avenue for therapy.

A dedicated social justice advocate, Nashia is currently a professor at North Carolina
State University with the School of Social Work. Professor Whittenburg teaches general
social work practice, administration supervision, and policy, advanced policy and social
justice advocacy.

Hey there, I'm Porsche! I graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from George Mason University. With over a decade of professional experience, I bring strong organizational, detail-oriented, and teamwork skills to my therapeutic work. With over ten years of professional experience, I bring strong organizational, detail-oriented, and interpersonal skills to both clinical and leadership roles.

 I am also a certified Mental Health First Aider and a Safe Zone Ally, advocating for and supporting LGBTQIA+ communities. Additionally, I serve as a liaison with the North Carolina Problem Gambling Association, promoting the Bystander Approach — a community model aimed at helping individuals recognize the signs of problem gambling in loved ones.

With a major in Health Service—Managing Programs and Projects and a certificate in Communication and Rhetoric, I combine strategic program management skills with the power of effective communication to advocate for meaningful, systemic change. My work focuses on creating and leading initiatives that promote fairness, access, and improved health for all communities.

Director of Quality Assurance

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services with a minor in Sociology and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree. I serve as a part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients facing life-limiting illnesses. 

I’m a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who cherishes time with family and finds joy in helping others live fuller, more meaningful lives.

Beyond my work in social services, I have a love for fashion and all things beauty. Whether I’m supporting someone through a challenging moment or styling the perfect look, I believe in helping people feel confident, seen, and empowered—inside and out.
